The first match of the season for Stafford Spartans. Burton had organised the match at short notice, so well done to everyone for attending. Despite scoring first, the Spartans found that the Burton Blitz Defense was causing them issues. Along with Burton being over the ball quicker, the Spartans found ourselves with little ball and were down at half time. Despite the backs finding a little space and crawling the score to within five, the lack of ball in the latter half of the match meant Burton were able to score more. Well done to Burton, lots to learn for the Spartans.
