In the pool stage, Stafford U14 Roses played 3 matches of 8 minutes.
We had some players from Caldy RFC to make up numbers so everyone was playing 15-aside.
What can we say- all the training sessions coming together for a great team performance.
Great passing, fantastic tackles and some lovely phases of play.
Freya & Peggy also had an extra game, making up numbers for Leek.

Match 1: Winningston V Stafford = 0 - 5 (Win)- try from Tori
Match 2: Stafford V Monstars = 0 - 10 (Loss)
Match 3: Stafford V Leek/Preston = 15 - 5 (Win) - 3 tries from Tori

So with 2 wins out of 3, we qualified for the 2nd place playoff.

There was some confusion at this point, teams not arrived/team left early so post lunch/no warmup, in the playoff Stafford met Northern.
We had watched these and knew they were a strong team (Winning their opening game with 7 tries!)
It was a tough game and both teams were still in post lunch chill, but a competitive game.

Match 4: Northern V Stafford = 0 - 10 (Loss)
