Due to traffic delaying the coach, Stafford Roses impressively got on with their Activate warmups and passing drills, looking very organised- well done!

Stafford v Oswestry
Stafford got off to a great start, looking in control of the game and a great run by Tori to open the scoring. Connie adding points with the conversion.
Stafford continued to look strong, putting pressure on the Oswestry defence until Oswestry managed to break free and score under the posts, adding the convertion. Stafford seemed to let their heads go down a bit and despite some strong tackling and rucking by Stafford couldn't manage another score. Oswestry had some very powerful forwards that caused problems for Stafford in the scrum. Oswestry managed another try, but denied a 3rd by dropping the ball at the line.

Telford (with Oswestry) v Stafford
After a few minutes recovery, Stafford were ready for action again (with a player loaned from Oswestry). This time they kept control of the match and some great passing and team play with tries from Peggy, Tori (both converted by Connie) and Sophia (converted by Jess) to go up 0-21.
Telford managed to pull back a try, but were denied a second by an impressive chase down & tackle by Tori, 5-21.
Stafford were not finished though and it was Beth's turn to added to the scoring, easily converted by Connie.
Final score: 5-28.

Telford v Oswestry- both with Stafford players
This game gave the Stafford players chance to have another run out, with 7 players required to make up Telford team and 2 played for Oswestry.
It wasn't the best flowing rugby with most playing out of position, but all the girls showed their skills in a good, fun game.
Final score: 0-10
