Stafford 66 Worcester 12
The U18 Panthers were a true testament to themselves today, producing an outstanding performance in bleak, biblical ?️ conditions, with relentless rain testing both skill and character.
Despite the weather, the girls rose to the challenge superbly, showing resilience, determination, and real pride in the shirt.
The team clearly rose to the personal challenges set by Ali, and this was evident throughout the match. Their passing accuracy and overall teamwork were commendable, particularly impressive given the conditions underfoot. Communication, support play, and collective effort were strong from start to finish, with the girls working tirelessly for one another.
With score standing at a 50 point difference Worcester were asked if they wanted to continue or change the teams. Worcester were happy to continue and so the game continued with Worcester running a couple of well worked tries
It was a dominant all‑round Stafford performance, built on strong defence, controlled phases, and excellent work rate, resulting in a well‑deserved 66–12 victory. Every player contributed, and the togetherness on the pitch was a real highlight of the day.
A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support the girls in such awful conditions. Your encouragement from the sidelines made a real difference, and the girls were brilliant in responding to that support.
The VEO was up and running and thankfully all went smoothly. Unfortunately, an epic team manager fail meant a flat camera battery — so apologies for the lack of photos! If anyone managed to brave the weather and snap a few pictures, please do share them.

A special thank you to Tori for stepping in to help us out — your support was massively appreciated.
Overall, a performance to be proud of. The girls showed grit, growth, and togetherness in truly testing conditions — exactly what Panthers rugby is about. ?
