It is with much sadness that I write to inform you of the sudden passing of Jeremy (Jez) Barber, taken from us all far too early.
Jez played rugby for Stafford, and also for St Leonard's RUFC, for many years and captained our 3rd XV for some years. Along with his great friend Jonny Smith, they developed a true bond within that team and always supported anyone who joined the team.
He was a gentle giant off the pitch and would go to any lengths to help anyone.
