Keith brings a wealth of experience to his new role, his rugby career started at the age of 11 when he started playing rugby at school, over the years Keith has played for many teams across the Midlands, and held various roles, including Captain of the Senior Men’s second team at Stafford, coaching coordinator twice, as well as being the volunteers coordinator.
Keith is a qualified referee and Mentor of Coaching and has carried out CPD and training for schools. He is also Head Coach of the Mixed Ability Team.

Keith is looking forward to his new role, which includes driving the One Club ethos and incorporating the RFU values - Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship into his role. As well as working with the club’s coaches, team managers and our many volunteers across the club.

Keith will bring a greater focus on all matters relating to rugby at the club, he said” I am honoured to have been appointed to the position of Director of Rugby and look forward to building on the strong foundations already in place”

Stafford RUFC is a community rugby club, with 23 teams, and over 650 playing members across a broad range of rugby, including senior men, senior women, mixed ability, touch and walking teams, as well as having one of the largest mini and junior sections for girls and boys in Staffordshire.

Keith is supported in his new role, by a great team of passionate and experience coaches and Team Managers.
