In an action-packed rugby clash between Stafford Colts and Rugeley Colts that was to demonstrate all the values that make our sport one of the greatest , Stafford emerged victorious with a final score of 48-28.
The game witnessed an early try by James Lynk at the 6th minute, although the conversion was missed. Rugeley responded with a try at the 14th minute, successfully converted.
The first half continued with Marley Thomas securing a try at the 25th minute, converted by James Lynk, who also added another try at the 32nd minute.
The second half brought more intensity, featuring a quick try by Joe Turnbull at the 1st minute, though the conversion was missed. Turnbull continued his impressive performance with another try at the 5th minute, converted by James Lynk. Rugeley fought back with two tries at the 14th and 17th minutes, both successfully converted. Tom Brodrick contributed a try at the 23rd minute, but the conversion was missed. The match continued with tries from Marley Thomas, Edward Austin, and another from Rugeley at the 26th, 33rd and 39th minutes, respectively, with conversions varying in success.

It was a great night of rugby , one of those where the score is secondary to the values on display, both sides played fantastically positive rugby, the spirit displayed was infectious and both teams deserve a pat on the back

We have to give a shout out to 3 players who only recently started their rugby careers , Ned Sutton and Logan Buffey in the pack and Tom Brodrick on the wing who scored his first ever try.
