Arlan Muldowney raises money for charity

Seven-year-old Arlan Muldowney has had long hair forever! During conversations about haircuts the suggestion of raising money for The Little Princess Trust was discussed and he thought that this was an amazing idea.

For lots of autistic people, having a haircut can be a difficult experience due to the sensory overload that is often involved. Arlan has previously used his long hair as a safety net and would only let his dad, former professional rugby player Alastair Muldowney, occasionally trim the ends.

But now this kind young man has decided to cut his hair to help other children, by raising funds for Caudwell Children, a charity that specialises in autism.

In his usual caring way he absolutely loves the thought of helping other people in need.
